Our team is proudly based in Bendigo, deeply connected to the local community.
Many of our staff were born and raised here, with their training completed at La Trobe University or Bendigo TAFE. We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel calm and relaxed, and our team is committed to delivering the highest level of care to our Bendigo community.
Dr Kelsea founded Aurum Dental with a vision to create a calm, relaxing space where patients can build positive dental memories. She completed her studies in Orange and has practised across Regional NSW and Victoria before happily calling Bendigo home. Kelsea prides herself on gentle treatment and clear, empathetic communication — and her experience spans everything from emergency extractions and root canals through to Invisalign, veneers and dental implants. Outside the clinic, she loves the outdoors, keeping active, and a good Netflix binge. She’s also a proud GWS Giants supporter.
With 30 years in the dental industry, including 20 as a practice manager, Jane is the backbone of Aurum Dental. A Bendigo local through and through, she’s passionate about creating the best possible patient journey, ensuring every visit is smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, you’ll find Jane embracing the great outdoors—or on one of her five motorbikes, fueling her love for adventure!
Dr. Lucy grew up in Melbourne and brings genuine warmth and compassion to her patient interactions. As a general dentist with a full scope of practice, she’s equally at home performing a routine check-up as she is carrying out more complex restorative work. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her hunting down a great new café, planning her next adventure overseas, or settling in for a good horror movie.
Dr. Hakan grew up in Melbourne and brings nine years of broad dental experience to the Aurum team. Having lived and worked across three states, he’s treated an incredibly diverse range of patients and developed a calm, adaptable approach to care that puts people at ease from the very first visit. Outside the clinic, Hakan is a dedicated dad who loves playing piano with his kids — and when he’s not at the keys, you’ll find him out in nature recharging.
Emily has been in dentistry since 2017, starting as a dental assistant, and then following her passion to become an Oral Health Therapist. She brings a wealth of experience in both clinical skills and patient care, having worked both sides of the dental team. Emily is a recipient of the Colgate Palmolive Academic Excellence Award and the Hygienist of Australia Award for outstanding academic achievement. She has a huge passion for children’s dentistry — her calm and playful demeanour puts young patients at ease and makes every appointment fun and educational. Outside the clinic, Emily enjoys her teaching role at La Trobe University and spending time with her adorable little boy and family.
Hailing from the Adelaide Hills, Amelia has spent six years in dentistry and shows no signs of slowing down — she’s currently completing her full dental degree at La Trobe University right here in Bendigo. As your OHT, she brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a warm, easy-going approach to every visit. When she clocks off, you’ll find her at the gym, on a snowboard, or somewhere overseas eating something delicious. Her sausage dog Rufus (named after Rufus Du Sol, naturally) holds down the fort at home.
Ella was born and raised right here in Bendigo and knows the community well. With four years of experience in dental, she brings a warm, unhurried approach to dental care that puts even the most nervous patients at ease. In her spare time she loves exploring new places with friends and family, spending time with her dog Bonnie, and — fun fact — she has competed in gymnastics at a national level!
With over two years in the dental industry, Taylah is the warm and welcoming presence that greets every patient at Aurum Dental. She loves making people feel at ease and ensuring their visit starts on a positive note. Friendly and highly organised, she keeps everything running smoothly at reception. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking—lemon meringue pie is her specialty!
Courtney has been a dental assistant for 5 years and is also currently studying a Diploma of Dental Technology at RMIT. Courtney is passionate about dentistry and oral health, and loves helping people achieve their dream smile. She also loves to visit the beach when she can.
With seven years of experience in dental care right here in Bendigo, Tracey is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She loves being part of their journey to rediscovering a smile they love. When she’s not in the clinic, Tracey is always planning her next adventure! Her favourite travel experience was swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef. She also enjoys sewing in her spare time.
Having worked in Dental for over 3 years, Sierra has also recently completed her Certificate III with us. Sierra loves interacting with patients and furthering her skills and knowledge. In her spare time, she loves watching footy and supports the Richmond Tigers (her and Dr. Kelsea don’t like to discuss 2019).
Shanae grew up in Inglewood and has spent the last 2.5 years building her career in dental, bringing genuine warmth and care to every patient she sees. Outside the clinic she’s happiest outdoors — camping, walking, and 4WDing whenever she can. A proud Essendon barracker, she’s always up for a footy chat in the chair.
